Gold Coins of Ecuador

The early gold coins of Ecuador are of the Spanish colonial type with various Spanish Kings starting in the early 1500s when Ecuador was part of Spanish Columbia.  Ecuador issued its own gold coins starting in 1833 through the late 1920s.
