Gold Coins of Montenegro

Montenegro was part of the Ottoman Empire from 1499 until 1878, when it became a principality, and then the Kingdom of Montenegro from 1910-1918. Gold coins were issued by King Nicholas I in 1910. Montenegro disappeared into Yugoslavia at the end of World War One.
