Dutch Gold Ducat made from 1586-1824 and restrikes. The Netherlands mints made gold ducats in the Gelderland between 1590 and 1593, Holland in 1583, West-Friesland between 1600 and 1601, Utrecht in 1591, Overijssel until 1600, Friesland, Zeeland until 1583, Zwolle until 1599, and Batenburg in 1579, for example. There are hundreds of types, dates and mints of ducats, which were used extensively in Northern Europe and Dutch India for over two hundred years.
