$500 and $1000 bills
The United States Government first started issuing paper money at the start of the Civil War in 1861, and among the larger denominations were $500 and $1000 dollar bills. The small size money that we use today was first issued in 1928. The denominations over one hundred are no longer printed and those that show up at banks are withdrawn by the Federal Reserve. We will buy any collectable US currency, and always pay more than face value for $500, $1000 dollar bills and larger denominations.
